Lou Duggan
President
Lou started the Staffing Edge in 1995 after 25 years as a staffing service owner, to allow other independent staffing company owners to focus on what they do best – sell and service their clients. By removing the burden of administrative activities, he could improve the staffing experience for end users and help independent entrepreneurs to enjoy enhanced business success.
A visionary thinker by nature, Lou sets the overall vision and direction for the business with the Executive Team and through the talented team of individuals working together in the business they have witnessed first-hand the many, major successes of the independent entrepreneurs we service. For seven years running, multiple members have celebrated Profit 100 and Fastest Growing company awards. The Staffing Edge has been awarded the eCustomer World Golden Award for Innovative Customer Solutions as well as Outstanding Business Achievement in the Brampton community.

Ray Gonder
Executive Vice President
In the Staffing industry since 1986, Ray has been intimately involved in the development and progression of the operational and technology tools that make The Staffing Edge the solution for staffing companies across Canada. Ray's expertise includes the creating of strategic business plans, industry forecasting, and technology development. Ray also heads up Business Development as he understands the needs of the staffing entrepreneur from concept to success.

Victor Winney
Chief Financial Officer
Victor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University and his CMA (Certified Managerial Accountant) Designation.
He has held CFO and VP positions in Toronto and Ottawa for the last 10 years within the technology and service industries. His experience in these positions includes extensive purchase and sales of business, and the financing of high growth business.
As the CFO of The Staffing Edge, Victor has finance/administrative, risk management, and credit and collections functions reporting to him. He works closely with members of The Staffing Edge in the areas of strategic planning, financing, risk management, and human resource to help our Member companies succeed in their chosen market segments.

Karen McMullen
Member Relations Manager
Karen’s passion for customer service combined with her over 15 years of staffing experience give her the perfect background for her role as Member Relations Manager. Karen’s background as a Recruiter, Permanent Placement Consultant and Branch Manager with both small independent firms as well as multi national organizations gives her a strong understanding of what the members actually experience on a day to day basis. Karen, and her department, are the ‘window to The Staffing Edge’. Answering any questions regarding payroll, general staffing support and being responsible for all systems related training, support and upgrades.

Larry Lacombe
Credit and Collections Manager
Larry brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the area of credit and collections management. Larry is in his fourth year at the Staffing Edge and has over 6 years of credit management experience specifically in the staffing services area. Larry also has strong experience in the area of credit assessment, and credit reporting. He is very customer focused and solution oriented, always looking for the right solution for members and clients. Larry brings a unique style of management to The Staffing Edge and enjoys leading his team in constantly improving cash flow, and system development and improvement.

Ed Melo
Financial Controller
With a Business Accounting Major, Ed has over 20 years of financial experience in the staffing, insurance and retail sectors. He brought his expertise to The Staffing Edge in 1999 and manages the day to day accounting operations including all government remittances and all inhouse financial reporting. Ed is a fantastic resource for our members and is happy to liase with their accountants offering insight and ensuring proper flow of information.

Christine Beaudry
Risk Management Manager
Fluent in both French and English, Christine's 14 years of sales and customer serivce experience coupled with 12 years of experience within the recruitment industry sector, makes her an integral member of The Staffing Edge Management Team. She has been actively working with Corporate Legal Counsel and outside consultants to ensure all Health and Safety and Worker’s Compensation legislation are met. In addition, she has been instrumental with the launch and maintenance of our state of the art Occupation Health and Safety Policy manual updating it to legislation standards, has implemented health and safety policies and procedures that meet WSIB safety group guidelines and has managed, in a cost effective manner, all WSIB claims and early and safe return to work programs for injured workers on behalf of our Staffing Edge members.

Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Sue started in the staffing industry over 15 years ago where she grew to love the unpredictable, fast pace of recruitment and sales. She brought her expertise to The Staffing Edge in 2005 and now helps to inspire companies to let The Staffing Edge take care of the administration while they focus on growing their business.
